The Internal Consulting Solutions (ICS) organization is a dynamic and expanding team within Citi responsible for leading high value initiatives to meet Citi’s transformation and business priorities. The ICS organization delivers significant programs in close partnership with Citi’s functional and business unit senior leadership. The ICS team is the go-to for consulting expertise within the firm. ICS covers a diverse set of critical initiatives which vary in size, duration, and complexity sponsored by senior leadership which have significant and measurable business value outcomes.
The ICS team is an interdisciplinary team comprised of colleagues with deep management consulting and financial services expertise uniquely positioning ICS to develop Citi’s transformational change approaches and methods as well as build change capabilities engaging Citi employees at all stakeholder levels.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The Analyst is a key team member within Citi’s ICS organization, supporting delivery of operating model and business process improvements programs. Analysts are expected to support deliverables through the program and delivery lifecycle. Analysts will receive continued development of the consulting toolkit and methodologies as well as extensive exposure to a global financial institution within their role.
Analysts report directly to a senior leader within the Internal Consulting organization but also to engagement manager(s) who lead the day-to-day of ongoing projects via a matrix management structure.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support all phases of projects and drive project execution and delivery including:
- Preparation of communications for project sponsors and senior stakeholders regarding hypotheses, analyses, and project outcomes
- Drive analysis of complex sets of data and business processes as needed with limited guidance.
- Analyze solutions to problems and develop initial hypotheses leveraging frameworks, and methodologies.
- Facilitate continued communications to drive engagement of key stakeholders and adoption of recommendations and solutions.
- Demonstrate initiative in performing necessary research and obtaining data to support required analysis.
- Work with ICS colleagues to continuously develop re-usable intellectual capital and contribute relevant content to the team’s knowledgebase.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-3 years of experience in a top-tier management consulting firm and/or equivalent experience in a large Financial Services company
- Highly proficient in MS Office including experience creating, owning, and developing PowerPoint presentations and advanced skills in Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Experience analyzing processes to high-level of diligence and detail.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor/University Degree with preference towards business or quantitative focus
