Reporting to the Anesthesia HR Director, the HR/Recruitment Coordinator will use skills as an experienced administrative professional to provide high-level analytical support to the HR team and to support faculty and staff managers in the coordination of all recruitment activities within the department. Some sample tasks include data management and reporting, maintenance of organizational charts, troubleshooting clinical access and licensing issues, scheduling panel interviews, organizing candidate travel and collecting candidate evaluations. This role requires significant interaction and productive working relations with the HR Shared Services, Anesthesia Finance, departmental Medical Directors and Service Chiefs, and departmental staff supervisors.
Involves managing or performing the administrative services or managing the full general operations of an academic or non-academic organization(s). Administrative services include activities in finance and human resources and may also include IT, facilities, or student services. General management activities include long and short range strategic planning in determining the mission and directing all activities of multi-disciplinary departments through subordinate management staff.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $29.05 - $53.50 (Hourly Rate).

MAC Proficiency
Thorough knowledge of University rules and regulations, processes, protocols, and procedures for personnel management.
Familiarity with organizing Faculty and Staff recruitment processes.
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Minimum 1 year of related experience
Knowledge of a variety of administrative operational activities such as events planning, basic risk management planning, payroll, and contracts and grants regulations and guidelines.
Interpersonal communication skills include verbal and written, active listening, critical thinking, persuasiveness, advising, and counseling skills.
Excellent customer service skills, ability to interact effectively and build relationships with physicians, staff, employees, and outside entities
Strong skills in short-term planning, analysis, problem-solving, and customer service.
Excellent organizational skills with special attention to detail. Must have demonstrated ability to multi-task and thoughtfully prioritize projects
Ability to be a decisive problem solver who can adapt to fast-paced changes with minimal supervision. Must have a demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent demonstrated record of attendance, punctuality, and reliability.
Knowledge of common University-specific computer application programs.
Excellent proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent proficiency and understanding of HRIS systems and relational databases, such as FileMaker Pro, Peoplesoft etc.
