GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Team Leader, Sales Services Organization (SSO) is responsible for overseeing the functions of the Customer Deduction Department to ensure all deductions are accurately cleared, and properly documented in a timely manner. This role directly supervises 10 +/- Deduction Analysts, Deduction Representatives and Trade Deduction Coordinators who are responsible for processing company deductions, documenting all Proof of Performance and tracking Customer Contracts. The role has the critical responsibility to achieve KPI's, streamline work processes and inspire their assigned team to do the same.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- (50%) Supervises and supports Deduction Analysts, Deduction Representative and Trade Deduction Coordinator. Responsibilities include coordinating and participating in interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; documenting and delivering performance expectations along with annual performance appraisals, and ensuring KPI's are met by team and individual.
- (10%) Builds knowledge of Event Details and Proof of Performance documentation across team
- (10%) Reviews and ensures all promotional additions/changes are properly approved according to corporate guidelines; follows-up with Field Sales and/or Marketing to gain proper approval if needed.
- (5%) Signs-off on route chargebacks for quantity differences.
- (5%) Reviews daily claims reports from Trade Accounting and directs follow-up actions as required.
- (10%) Communicates, learns from, and provides effective service to connecting groups (such as sales, Customer planning, e4 Trainers and marketing departments).
- (10%) May perform other duties as assigned or required, including backup support for the deductions team

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
3-5 years of progressive experience in support of Field Sales or Trade System experience

OTHER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED
- Microsoft Office - Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills required.
- Experience downloading reports from systems to Excel.
- Experience analyzing data and summarizing findings.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills to present finding to Senior Sales Management

Compensation and Benefits:
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$47,600-$79,800
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
