WANTED: An experienced Solutions Architect that will help translate customer needs to competitive technical solutions, write compelling proposals, and provide technical-reach back to our customer facing staff and programs.

As a member of our solutioning team you will:
Interface with technical staff from across the company.
Play a key role in the support of business pursuits through development of solutions and related proposals.
Engage with customers and business partners.
Function as a solutions strategist as well as external-facing thought leader.
Work with a team of driven, supportive and highly skilled professionals.
Assist in the curation of our corporate knowledge and experience, capability advancement, and related efforts as we promote the use of the AMERICAN SYSTEMS Service Delivery Framework and continuous improvement of its underlying Service Delivery Models (SDMs).

A week in the life of a Solutions Architect:
Develop compliant, compelling, and innovative solutions (technical, management, quality, and/or staffing) that support capture and proposal efforts.
Write technical content, serve as a proposal technical volume lead, and work with technical staff and SMEs to design solutions.
Lead and facilitate brainstorming sessions.
Serve as an expert in areas related your primary area of technical expertise (software development, networking, cyber, etc.)
Author RFIs, white papers, and briefings that showcase the thought leadership of the organization.
Participate in business development / program reviews with focus on continuous improvement and/or innovation, and potentially assist and participate in improving performance of troubled projects.
Provide technical support to business development and operations staff in customer-facing marketing and business development efforts.
Assist or lead capture strategy development, including the creation and marketing of "differentiating" value propositions.
Assist in the further development of our Service Delivery Models.
Take on 'special projects' that leverage your strengths and support tactical or strategic business needs.
Job Requirements
US Citizenship
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical discipline
Over eight years applicable work experience.
MUST BE experienced in proposal lifecycle with at least three years of direct experience serving as a solutions architect / technical writer supporting proposal development.
Knowledgeable of the business development / capture lifecycle.
At least three years of direct technical experience (e.g., systems engineering, systems integration, systems/software development, cybersecurity, etc.) ideally with experience crossing multiple disciplines.
Knowledge in a core technical competency (software development, networking, cyber, DevSecOps, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), etc.).
Experience shaping, bidding, and/or winning Federal opportunities.
Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills, as well as presentation, facilitation, and team building skills.
