The Quality Assurance Technician III is accountable for microbiological testing as part Environmental Monitoring Program. This position primary focus will be on CNC environmental monitoring and critical systems (for example, RODI water) monitoring. The Microbiology Lab provides support to the manufacturing controlled non-classified areas and their routine environmental monitoring (which includes monitoring of the RODI and or compressed air system).
Routinely performs testing and analysis of data. Executes validation protocols. This person will work under supervision on routine project and will have ability to take on increasingly complex task and responsibilities. As position evolves, this role will support stability testing for new product introduction and ongoing shelf-life studies for released products.

Job Responsibilities:
Perform environmental monitoring for controlled non classified area, RODI systems, and bioburden testing.
Assist with trend analysis of viable and non-viable particle counts from environmental monitoring.
Assist with troubleshooting equipment and takes responsibility for resolving these problems.Maintains appropriate logs and documentation as necessary.Escalates to management as needed for assistance.
Creates purchase orders.Orders supplies, prepares reagents, and assists with laboratory maintenance as required.
Keeps abreast of the basic requirements in own area of work and complies with those requirements.
Applies knowledge of reagent manufacturing process, equipment, and environment to support investigation and correction actions for CNC excursion.
Works within defined process procedures or methodologies and may help determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
May assist in training others on SOPs and quality guidelines related to CNC controls.
Assist with revision for standard operating procedures, provide recommendation for improvement to procedures related to CNC controls.
Demonstrates strong attention to detail.
Ensures accurate data entry and completion of all necessary paperwork.
Manages responsibilities and workflow effectively to consistently meet time frames for work assignments
Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
Job Qualifications:
Minimum High School degree. Associate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology or related field preferred.
Knowledge with laboratory operations and maintenance.
Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485.
Knowledge of SAP and BMRAM system.
Proficient with MS Excel and Word required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
