As an Leadership Recruiter at Gusto, you’ll flex to own a range of executive searches including (but not limited to): Engineering, Product, Design and Data. You will be a true business partner to our Executive Team, heavily impact Gusto’s hiring strategy, and hire world-class talent.
Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:
- Manage the full-cycle executive/leadership recruitment process at Gusto
- Partner with hiring leaders and executives to understand their organizational objectives and drive a customized hiring plan to achieve those goals
- Create unique strategies to identify, attract, engage and close the best talent from branding and events to sourcing and referrals
- Manage candidates in process to provide them with the most delightful candidate experience
- Mentor fellow members of the recruitment team on best practices
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Compensation, HR Business Partners, and Executive Operations
- Build processes that will help the recruitment team scale its efforts for years to come
- Proactively contribute to improving Recruiting at Gusto by challenging the status quo and providing useful suggestions for improvement
Here’s what we're looking for:
- 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience ideally with 3+ years within a high-growth tech environment
- Experience coaching hiring managers, guiding them through the whole recruiting process
- Proven experience managing and closing Leadership positions
- Project management or other leadership experience while working collaboratively and proactively in a diverse team environment
- Drive to find and connect with the best talent
- Experience building representative candidate pipelines and helping hiring managers create inclusive teams
- Familiarity with funnel metrics - you can use your data to understand and predict candidates needed to achieve hiring targets
- Ability to qualify a candidate and understand what each candidate brings to the table, as well as connect that candidate with the right opportunity at Gusto
- At your best in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $170,000 - $210,000/year for San Francisco. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
Gusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week (or more depending on role). The same office expectations apply to all Symmetry roles, Gusto's subsidiary, whose physical office is in Scottsdale.
Note: The San Francisco office expectations encompass both the San Francisco and San Jose metro areas.
When approved to work from a location other than a Gusto office, a secure, reliable, and consistent internet connection is required.
