Position Duties & Functions: |
Update and run Data Integration software to load current position into Asset-Liability Management (ALM) model. |
Research and reconcile source data issues. |
Create and maintain fully documented and detailed procedures for running Data Integration and ALM software. |
Perform written and statistical analysis on interest rate risk metrics. |
Calculate and monitor prepayments on loan portfolios. |
Utilize Bloomberg to conduct economic research, obtain market data, and perform calculations. |
Input assumptions and current position data into ALM model and perform calculations and analyses to measure current and projected liquidity and exposure to interest rate risk. Report levels and sources of interest rate exposure to management. Run income simulation and stochastic valuation analysis to measure financial performance based on interest rate environment, new products, growth and concentration risk. |
Prepare hedge purchase documentation utilizing Bloomberg derivatives calculator and spreadsheets. |
Use Bloomberg derivatives calculator and spreadsheets to value derivatives hedge portfolio and generate accounting entries. |
Use advanced Excel functionality to create financial reports and graphs. |
Participate in budget process and special purpose analysis projects. |
Assist Senior Financial Analyst with various deposit analysis and financial reporting. |
Other duties as assigned. |

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance (Economics, Accounting, or Business could also be considered) from accredited college or university.
- At least 2 years of Asset Liability Management modeling and financial analysis experience.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated qualifications.
KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:
- Ability to write and speak effectively in English using correct spelling and grammar.
- Basic math skills including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages using a 10-key.
- Proficient in the use of basic applications in a Windows-based environment, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Moderate keyboard skills at 40 wpm.
- Excellent customer service skills.
