Position Summary:
The Senior Trauma Tech is responsible for coordinating and performing a broad range of technical duties supporting the patient care in ED services to facilitate patient flow, including but not limited to: assisting with patient triage; obtaining vital signs and specimens; assisting the physician with the application and removal of casts, splints and wound care; providing support to physicians during patient exams; assisting patients with hygiene, elimination and comfort measures; preparing patients for transport. Will maintain inventory of equipment and supplies, performing quality control and basic troubleshooting of equipment.

Salary Range:
Hourly Rate Minimum $25.16 Midpoint $28.21 Maximum $31.26
Required Qualifications:
Must be able to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
EMT and/or Paramedic license
Minimum 2 years of related experience as an Emergency/Trauma Technician
Preventative Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) within 30 days of hire
Licenses and Certifications:
Basic Life Support(Required)
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated patient care experience, preferably in an acute care setting
Bilingual skill, either Spanish or Vietnamese to communicate effectively with patients and families.
