About being our Accounts Payable Specialist
As an Accounts Payable Specialist in our Los Angeles office at Psomas, you will utilize your expertise to oversee the full cycle accounts payable including processing invoices, expense reports, and credit card statements, while also providing support to accounting management as requested.
Responsibility Highlights for our Accounts Payable Specialist
- Full Cycle Accounts Payable, responsible for processing invoices, expense reports and credit card statements
- Administer Accounts Payable system, invoice scanning, indexing, routing for review and approval
- Maintain account payable email inbox
- Prepare weekly check run
- Perform data entry, filing, reconciliation and analysis, as needed
- Maintain vendor records on all active vendors, including W-9's, ACH information and annual 1099 reconciliation and filing
- Provide support to accounting management, as requested
Minimum Qualifications to be our Accounts Payable Specialist
- 1-2 years of general accounting experience
- Knowledge of full cycle accounting
- Intermediate computer literacy, including experience in word processing, spreadsheets, network files
- Ability to work successfully and professionally in a team environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completion
Preferred Qualifications for our Accounts Payable Specialist
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or in business related field of study
- Knowledge and experience with Deltek Vision accounting software
