Main Responsibilities:
- Overseeing tax matters in the United-States and Canada, with a strong focus on US tax compliance and optimization, which shall include:
- Tax planning and strategy
- M&A, business development and legal restructuring
- Transactional work
- Modeling
- Tax technical research & memos
- Monitoring changes in tax laws and regulations in the United-States and Canada.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, IT, Procurement, and operations to ensure tax considerations are integrated into business decisions
- Manage relationships with external tax advisors, tax authorities and auditors
- Ensure compliance with local Transfer Pricing requirements, in coordination with our Transfer Pricing Team
About You
- Strong expertise in U.S. direct and indirect taxes
- Deep knowledge of international tax and transfer pricing regulation
- Minimum 8-year experience in US tax compliance & planning
- Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and to prioritize tasks effectively
