Job Description
Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive security architectures for the protection of CISA's cyber infrastructure, focusing on threat intelligence and data security.
Evaluate, recommend, and integrate advanced security technologies and systems to address specific organizational threats and vulnerabilities.
Lead security assessments and audits, ensuring alignment with federal cybersecurity standards and regulations such as NIST frameworks.
Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to design and enforce security policies and protocols that mitigate risks without impeding organizational efficiency.
Provide expert guidance on the latest security trends and threats, contributing to the strategic planning of cybersecurity initiatives.
Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans that ensure data integrity and availability in the event of a security breach.
Qualifications
At least 7 years of experience in a security architecture role, preferably within the government, military, or a critical infrastructure environment.
Required certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or similar.
Extensive knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
Proven track record of developing and implementing large-scale security architectures and strategies.
Experience with cloud security architectures, including those involving AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Clearance Requirements:
U.S. citizenship required
Active secret security clearance or have the ability to obtain one.
