Job Abstract

• Receive all outpatients upon arrival. Register, complete necessary forms/consents, and “check-in” these patients.
• Schedule Inpatient, Outpatient and Acute Care diagnostic exams and arrange for patient transport.
• Schedule Outpatient exams requiring attention by the department. Communicate with physician offices during the scheduling process.
• Receive and prepare all requests for Image Release/Transfer and follow all release of information/HIPPA guidelines.
• Keep dressing rooms/waiting rooms fully stocked and clean.
• Complete all daily electronic tasks and requests made by the Radiologists in a timely manner.
• Answer department telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner; direct calls to appropriate personnel. Answer voicemail messages and address promptly.
• Obtain outside imaging and reports when necessary.
• Distribute radiology reports to ordering physicians via fax when requested by the department or ordering provider.
• Follow all Aultman Health Foundation policies and procedures for safety, infection control, HIPPA, etc.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous clerical and customer service experience preferred.
