NetCentrics is seeking a Mid-Level Contracts Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Contracts Specialist, you will play a key role in managing the life cycle of various contracts, ensuring compliance, and supporting the strategic goals of the company. Key Responsibilities
- Contract Life Cycle Management: Oversee all stages of contractual matters, including awards, modifications, teaming agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
- Primary Interface: Act as the main point of contact for all contract-related communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms to manage risk levels and develop solutions that align with both NetCentrics and customer interests.
- Compliance and Administration: Ensure successful administration of contracts, including setup, execution, change management, dispute resolution, termination, and closeout.
- GSA Schedule Management: Lead modifications, renewals, and acquisitions of GSA schedules.
- Performance Monitoring: Audit and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Reporting: Prepare and issue reports on contract activities, financial interests, and compliance status.
- Proposal Support: Review and approve representations, certifications, and subcontracting plans for business proposals.
- Regulatory Updates: Stay updated on laws, regulations, and industry developments, and communicate these to key stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead implementation efforts.
- Government Reporting: Manage government reporting and compliance filings, including SAM registration, GSA schedule reporting, FSRS reporting, ESRS reporting, CPARs ratings, and FOIA requests.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to strategic planning initiatives with senior leadership.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Lead special projects as requested by senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree desired.
- Experience: 3-6+ years of relevant work experience in government contracting.
- Specialized Knowledge: Strong experience managing GSA schedules is highly desired; in-depth knowledge of FAR is essential.
- Skills: Self-starter with the ability to think proactively and anticipate the needs of the CEO.
- Attitude: A "roll up your sleeves" approach and a commitment to getting things done
