Job Summary
BASIC FUNCTION:
Under the direction of an assigned administrator, provide a special education program in compliance with Early Start Statutes & Regulations for students eligible for services. Demonstrate essential skills and information necessary for advancing the child/student development and working toward goals/outcomes.
Requirements / Qualifications
THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION:
•Copy of valid California Education Specialist Instruction credential authorizing Early Childhood Special Education services to children ages birth to pre-kindergarten OR appropriate intern-eligible letter from college/university, clearly stating what applicant is eligible for.
•Copy of CLAD certification or English Learner Authorization
(SPECIAL NOTE: copies of credentials should include the name of the credential, credential details, authorizations, and expiration date. You may obtain a copy from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing website at www.ctc.ca.gov.)
