About the role
At Four Seasons Residence Club Aviara, the Overnight Front Desk Supervisor oversees front desk operations, ensuring exceptional guest service and seamless check in/check out processes. This role involves addressing guest inquiries and emergencies, and maintaining a secure and welcoming environment throughout the night.
What you will do
Decision Making and Problem Assessment:
• Act independently and without prior approval with full authority within his/her scope to
ensure compliance with all Four Seasons’ policies and procedures.
• Assess problems and owner/guest complaints, making quick decisions for the best interests of
guests and the Residence Club.
Staff supervision and Management:
• Supervise Front Office staff, evaluating, disciplining, and giving direction.
• Develop work schedules for effective staffing, ensuring operational efficiency within
specific labor standards.
Training and Communication:
• Develop and participate in training programs, conduct seminars for the growth of the Front
Office staff and concentrate on staff development.
• Maintain high morale, minimize turnover.
• Hold staff meeting and ensure effective communication between Front Office and all
departments as well as within the Front Office.
Emergency response:
• Respond properly to Residence Club emergencies or safety situations.
• Direct employees and guests in any emergency situation and administer first aid when called
upon.
Privacy and Confidentiality Management:
• Handle delicate situations, prioritizing owner/guest, and the Residence Club’s privacy.
Strategic Business Leadership:
• Manage Front Office as a business endeavor, maximizing occupancy, revenue and average
transient rate, as well as minimizing owner/guest relocations.
• Participate in forecasting, evaluate daily room revenue and labor in comparison to business
activity to maintain inventory control on supplies, to ensure accuracy, uniformity, and correct
accounting practices for the Guest Experience Concierge.
