Job Description
Role Purpose:
The Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis team is responsible for all planning and estimate cycles, internal reporting and related analysis for NBCUniversal consolidated financial results. The team also oversees the preparation of presentations to a wide spectrum of internal and external audiences including NBCUniversal and Comcast Senior management, as well as Investor Relations. As the Director FP&A and Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in driving the evolution of our FP&A function by leveraging SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to streamline processes, enhance analytics capabilities, and enable data-driven decision-making. Reporting to the SVP of FP&A, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to design and implement innovative solutions that optimize financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
Responsibilities:
Partner on the end-to-end transformation of the FP&A function, from development to execution, leveraging SAP Analytics Cloud and DataSphere as the primary technology platform.
Collaborate with business partners to understand requirements, identify opportunities, and help define a roadmap for FP&A process improvement and automation.
Develop and implement best practices for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes using SAP Analytics Cloud, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Drive the design and configuration of SAC models, dashboards, and reports to deliver actionable insights and enable informed decision-making across the organization.
Lead change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new FP&A processes and technologies, including training, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
Challenge the organization to drive standardization in data and process.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in FP&A, proactively recommending innovative solutions to drive business value.
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of FP&A professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related roles, with at least 2 years of experience in leading FP&A transformation initiatives.
Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud preferred (or other planning and/or visualization technology).
Extensive experience with SAP Analytics Cloud or similar enterprise performance management (EPM) and business intelligence (BI) tools.
Strong understanding of FP&A processes, methodologies, and best practices, with the ability to drive process improvements and automation.
Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional projects and initiatives in a complex, matrixed organization.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Change champion with a results-oriented mindset, able to translate business requirements into actionable plans and deliverables.
Desired Characteristics:
Certifications in SAP Analytics Cloud or relevant technologies are a plus.
