PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As the Senior Manager, Completions/Commissioning at Worley, you will be a pivotal leader responsible for the successful completion and operational readiness of large-scale projects. Your role is crucial in ensuring that projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and sustainably, aligning with Worley's ambition to be a global leader in sustainability solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Oversight
- Direct on-site activities associated with project completion, ensuring adherence to directives and policies.
- Review project designs and recommend modifications to enhance safety and operational efficiency.
- Provide expertise in troubleshooting and develop tactical plans to implement organizational goals.
Team Leadership
- Lead and guide start-up and operations staff, fostering an environment of effective performance and development.
- Manage and direct work through supervisors, ensuring robust performance evaluations and informed decision-making.
Strategic Communication
- Communicate and present complex proposals and reports to senior management effectively.
- Employ a participative management style, encouraging collaboration and innovation within teams.
Change Management
- Implement and lead organizational project changes effectively.
- Develop new concepts and ideas to enhance project outcomes and drive functional expertise.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILL SET
Education and Experience
- University Degree or equivalent in a related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Extensive relevant experience, including supervisory, project management, and technical expertise.
Technical Expertise
- Advanced understanding of systems, processes, and tools related to completions and commissioning.
- Ability to assist in troubleshooting and contribute to the development of new systems, processes, and tools.
Leadership and Decision-Making
- Proven ability to make decisions regarding staff selection, training, discipline, and remuneration.
- Demonstrated capability to provide technical guidance and influence project directions.
Problem Solving and Innovation
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive solutions from general information.
- Capacity to oversee the design of innovative concepts and ideas related to projects and functional areas.
Communication
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to persuade and influence stakeholders.
- Effective in fostering a cooperative team approach and participative management style.
