Job Purpose
Canoo is searching for a driven Maintenance Planner responsible for managing and deploying the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This individual will work with Group Leaders and Work Center Managers to gather and input all the relevant data into the system. This is a strategic role and will have a major impact on the Production Team and Maintenance Team. The candidate will manage PM strategy and allocation, spare parts and budget as well as continuously improve the system via process improvements, lower cost operating methods and / or new requirements from the Facilities Maintenance Team.
Responsibilities (80s of the Position)
- Responsible for CMMS deployment and configuration
- Plant and equipment hierarchy configuration
- Documentation and Maintenance manual allocation into the CMMS system
- Maintenance plan generation in accordance with equipment supplier documentation
- Spare parts strategic need, minimum reorder level management and interface to purchasing system requirements.
- Work Order (WO) & Preventative Maintenance (PM) assignment to relevant teams.
- Work closely with Controls / Robotics / Manufacturing Engineers to identify automatic data input requirements to fully utilize CMMS functionality (I.E. - meter readings, run hours, conditional monitoring)
- Identify Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunities for implementation.
- Work with Maintenance team in spare parts store organization.
- Provide CMMS training to maintenance production teams
- Maintain Company requirements for: Confidential Data, Intellectual Property (IP), Quality and HSE. (Health, Safety and Environmental)
Required Experience
- Electrical / Mechanical / Maintenance technician qualification - BTEC / HNC Preferred.
- Previous Maintenance team leader position.
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience gained in a manufacturing industry
- Excellent computer data input and application configuration skills
- Awareness of the IT and OT environments as this role will be located between both systems
- Proven data base and MES configuration/implementation experience
- Process Engineering and OEE understanding and background.
- Project Management skills
- Continuous Improvement background and mindset
Preferred?Experience?
- Automotive OEM Maintenance experience
Travel Requirements
- Travel to support the business as required.
