JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of a Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Director, the Intake Manager manages the Intake Team Lead and Intake Coordinators, who are responsible for processing patient referrals to determine establishing care, obtaining/reviewing financial and medical documentation needed for care, verifying insurance eligibility and benefits, obtaining insurance prior authorizations, and communicating with patient/family regarding coverage and payment responsibilities.
The Intake Manager oversees and performs the daily operations of the Intake Team, ensuring adequate staffing to process referrals timely and according to standard operating procedure (SOP).
The Intake Manager ensures achievement of KPI’s according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field
5-7 years of experience
Demonstrates the ability to problem solve and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrates the ability to pay attention to detail and meet tight deadlines.
On-site position with possibility for hybrid remote.
