Job Description
Responsibilities:
A complete understanding of Wheatland’s capabilities and product offerings, with the ability to promote new sales initiatives.
Develop and manage superior customer relationships through open and interactive communication.
Daily review of customer backlog, proactively solving potential customer service issues.
Prepare and process quotes, enter orders, and coordinate shipments.
Build and maintain effective and professional interdepartmental relationships – team approach to customer service.
Work with the outside sales team on gathering and triagulating market intelligence.
Identify opportunities for improving the customer experience and capable of carrying out action items and potential solutions.
Analyze Wheatland’s pricing & market strategy and drive action to achieve objectives.
Participate & contribute on regular conference calls – both internal and external.
Coordinate a response on quality claims.
Assist management with special projects as required.
Provide back-up for other inside sales representatives.
Project professionalism in representing the organization, internally and externally.
Regular and predictable, full-time, onsite attendance during scheduled hours.
Qualifications:
Excellent customer service and communication skills - verbal and written.
Curiosity to constantly learn more about the business.
Driven, articulate, energetic, personable, accountable, and a team player.
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to make sound decisions and prioritize multiple tasks amid dynamic timelines.
Excellent mathematical aptitude and organizational skills.
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Prior sales experience in manufacturing or industrial sales is preferred.
Experience in SAP is a plus.
Lead and promote healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy
