Construction Project Manager – Architectural Metals & Glass Fabrication – Base Salary up to 120k + Bonus - Queens, NY

With experience in enclosures, ornamental metals, architectural specialties, mechanical components, and metal art they can fabricate and install in commercial buildings, stadiums, and airports across New York City. The Construction Project Manager is a crucial member of this local team in Middle Village, NY. This person will oversee construction projects from inception to completion. They will work with our Estimating team, General Contractor, Architect, and Subcontractors to ensure project dates are met!
Job Duties:
Tracking construction document changes
Coordinating with the General Contractor, Architect, and Subcontractors to ensure project dates are met. Items include but not limited to:
Communicating to the client tasks which will need to be completed in order for our company to perform our contractual work
Resolving issues and conflicts which arise during the course of construction and making decisions to keep the project on track
Track submittals
Track change orders
Track costs in relationship to the estimate
Managing construction project schedules from submittal, fabrication, and installation perspective
Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 4+ years of experience on large complex commercial construction projects
Experience working with metal and glass fabrication/installation is highly desired for this role
Comprehensive understanding of:
PM schedule building
Construction drawings and specifications
Self-performing trade knowledge:
Ability to analyze crew sizes and material needs for self-perform activities
Experience comparing self-perform pricing against historical costs and productivity
Aware of union trade wage hour restrictions
Consults with internal team members for their input and expertise
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Effective communicator
History of developing project schedules
Preferably, this candidate will have an extensive architectural background
Must have the ability to work in-office, 5 days/week
Compensation:
Base salary from 75k – 120k/year or more
Annual bonus potential
