The Department of Corrections, Bureau of Administration at Central office is seeking an organized, positive individual to provide clerical support.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will serve as the Department of Corrections' messenger and provide support within the Communications Center, as well as to the Bureau of Administration located within DOC Central Office.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment.
Work hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $35,306 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or
Graduation from high school; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
You must possess a valid class C Pennsylvania driver's license.
Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
You must be able to perform essential job functions.

You must pass a background investigation.
