SiemensLogistics LLC is seeking experienced mechanical and controls technicians insupport of the team located in San Francisco, California International Airportlocation to fill MaintenanceTechnician Level III roles. This position requiresexperience and knowledge in the responsibilities as outlined.
Responsibilities:
Performingmaintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and testing of the Baggage HandlingSystem and their associated components, providing accurate and timely writtenreports of safety, operational, and maintenance activities. Must have theability to interpret data and suggest maintenance schedule/activity adjustmentsto the Manager. Update daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance activityschedules. Order and maintain a stock of spare parts necessary for properservicing of the BHS. Ensure all Preventative and Predictive Maintenancepractices and procedures are scheduled and followed.
Physicalrequirementsinclude, but are not limited to: Lifting (50 to 100pounds), bending, reaching, climbing, walking, crawling, standing, sitting,climbing stairs, speaking, sight, and/or hearing to complete the job duties.
Required Skills / Education:
• Experience:Five + years of experience
• EducationRequired: HS Diploma or GED or equivalent experience required
• Electro-Electronics/ Mechanical skills required.
• ExcellentCustomer Relations skills.
• Adhereto all safety regulations and safe work practices.
• Mechanicaltroubleshooting skills including but not limited to belts, bearings, pulleys,drives, and gearmotors.
• Industrialelectrical troubleshooting skills including 480V three phase motor and controlcircuits, electrical schematic print reading, variable frequency drives, motorstarters, and input/output systems required.
• Workingknowledge of PLC systems and operations preferred.
• Familiaritywith high level control systems SCADA systems, and network architectureincluding servers, ethernet, fiber optic, network switches (ethernet, fiber),workstations, and barcode scanning systems.
• Maintenancemanagement software skills including generating and completing preventive andcorrective maintenance, scheduling maintenance, and tracking inventory.
• Basicmanagement and supervisory skills involving organization, communications,scheduling, and computers.
• Musthave driver license with clean MVR.
• Abilityto pass all background checks and security screenings per airportrequirements.
• QualifiedApplicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
