Job Summary/Company:
A Sparks Group client is seeking a TS/ SCI Cleared Systems Engineer to support a federal project in Chantilly or Springfield VA. The Senior Systems Engineer guides engineering teams in multi-disciplinary approaches encompassing requirements engineering, solutions development, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services integration, testing, maintainability, and analysis for the National System of Geospatial-intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-intelligence (ASG), and Federal Agencies. Ensure timely and accurate GEOINT.
Responsibilities:
Mentor mid-level and junior system engineers in performing comprehensive engineering tasks across NSG, ASG, and Federal Agencies.
Lead planning and analysis of user requirements, architectures, and procedures for system automation and enhancement, including evaluation of cloud service capabilities.
Integrate multiple systems, services, processes, and interfaces within Major Systems Acquisitions across organizational and agency boundaries.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering, Engineering Management, Computer Science, or related STEM field, or equivalent additional experience.
Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI government clearance
Minimum of 12 years or applicable experience is required
Senior-level or higher experience in government or industry, focusing on DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, or systems engineering within complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments.
Familiarity with systems engineering lifecycle and experience in cloud, on-premise, or hybrid infrastructures.
