Required Knowledge
- Degree Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field preferred.
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in instructional design, with a significant focus on product training and adult learning methodologies.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in eLearning tools such as Camtasia, Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise, and graphic design tools like Photoshop. Familiarity with virtual collaboration tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher).
- Instructional Design: Strong knowledge of and ability to apply instructional design theories, practices, and methodologies.
- Metrics Development: Experience in developing and analyzing success metrics to evaluate training effectiveness and impact.
- Learning Management Systems: Deep understanding of LMS architecture and functionality, with a preference for experience in deploying SuccessFactors.
- Mobile Learning: Knowledge of mobile learning design and development best practices.
Additional Skills
- Accessibility and Inclusivity: Knowledge of accessibility standards and experience designing inclusive learning experiences that cater to a diverse audience.
- Emerging Technologies: Familiarity with the latest eLearning technologies, including AI-driven learning tools, virtual reality (VR), and augmented reality (AR) to enhance interactive learning experiences.
- Data Analytics: Ability to use analytics tools to gather insights from training data to inform strategic decisions and improve learning outcomes.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills to oversee eLearning development projects from conception through to deployment.
- Change Management: Experience in managing change and integrating new learning technologies and methodologies within an organization.
- Creative Problem Solving: Ability to creatively solve problems and innovate within the scope of eLearning development and delivery.
