Location: Annapolis Junction, MD
Core Duties:
Maintain the Hardware/Software Inventory Dashboard
Responsible for running monthly reports for deliverables (i.e., Monthly Status Report, Monthly Renewal Report, Monthly Expiration Report)
Establish, manage, and maintain lines of communication with the appropriate parties
Obtain the full set of documentation used to process through the previous year’s annual Operations and Maintenance hardware and software maintenance renewal (herein referred to as “maintenance renewal”)
Create a work breakdown structure and a schedule; identify and document assumptions, dependencies, and risks
Draft reporting formats for deliverables, as required
Renewal Data Gathering:
Identify and document support requirements for all hardware and software
Obtain the full set of documentation used to process through the previous year’s annual Operations and Maintenance hardware maintenance and software/licenses maintenance renewal
Compile a comprehensive list of items that need to be added or removed from the previous year’s renewal, including but not limited to
Hardware and software maintenance/subscriptions purchased outside the annual maintenance renewal and determine if any of these items are to be included in the upcoming maintenance renewal based on end-of-support dates
Hardware warranties obtained through the initial equipment purchase that will expire during the next maintenance renewal cycle
Software subscriptions that will expire during the next maintenance renewal cycle
Hardware or software maintenance currently being renewed on a contract that is expiring and will not be recompeted (e.g., a consolidated DHS/TSA contract, or a BPA/ELA)
Compile a list of hardware and software decommissioned since the previous maintenance renewal or planned for decommission prior to the upcoming maintenance renewal
Hardware maintenance and support requirements, as well as software maintenance requirements, shall be documented in the Hardware and Software Inventory Report
Collaborate with appropriate parties to draft, format, and create Hardware and Software Inventory reports
Conduct market research, obtain competitive quotes, and recommend and summarize quotes for review/approval to assist with cost estimation
Create and submit Material Order Requests (MOR) packages based on selected quote (s)
Maintain and update the “Requirements Management/Maintenance Binder” and ensure all systems meet hardware/software licensing requirements, and provide inventory management
Continuously review the hardware/software maintenance renewal to determine ways to improve the process

Job Requirements
Formal education, specifically a four-year college degree (Bachelor’s Degree) in Engineering and/or science
At least three (3) years of relevant experience performing and supporting program/project management activities in similar large and complex systems
3+ years of Information Systems experience preferred
Must be able to pass (or possess) a Tier 1 (Public Trust) background investigation (DHS and TSA suitability)
