About the Opportunity:
The Resident Experience Program Coordinator position is a full-time, professional staff member who plays an integral role in creating a residential life program that encourages student and community engagement and development of a supportive living and learning environment. The Resident Experience Program Coordinator plays a significant role in creating a robust residential experience for all USC Housing residents, with an additional focus on residential college identity. This position will help the Assistant Director for Residential Experience implement department large-scale events including elements of Move-In Week and the overall Trojan Welcome Experience in both Fall and Spring semesters. In addition, this position will help plan, coordinate, and facilitate events on a biweekly basis for all USC Housing residents.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Plan, implement and evaluate events and activities focused on providing a robust residential experience while creating connection to residential colleges. Indirectly supervise, train, and evaluate the Residential Experience graduate assistants and student workers Regularly assess the events and services to ensure a sense of belonging and connection to USC Create and distribute event advertisements through various communication platforms such as email, newsletters, social media, and printed materials. Responsible for purchasing all items for coordinated events including the utilization of procurement cards, travel cards, purchase orders, Internal Service Deliveries and contracting. Manage, track, and reconcile individual expenses and budgets tied to events and activities Maintain individual meetings with your Assistant Director and other Residential Experience support staff Provide resources and support for Residential Education programs, services, and engagement Maintain a weekly work schedule with many weekend and night commitments Other duties as assigned by the Director of Residential Education

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Preferred minimum of 1 year post-Bachelor’s work experience within residential life or student life. Combined education/experience as a substitute for minimum experience.
