JOB SUMMARY:
The IT Business Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring successful technology implementations across all business departments. They collaborate with both business and IT leaders to identify needs, develop strategies, and optimize systems for improved efficiencies and collaboration.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- System Optimization: Oversee the utilization and optimization of Oracle ERP and its integration with all business applications, ensuring these systems align with our business processes and objectives.
- Strategic Planning and Change Management: assist in executing strategic IT plans that support the expansion into e-commerce and other business areas, incorporating effective change management strategies.
- Integration and Automation: support the integration of new applications into our existing and future systems, focusing on automation and process improvement.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide ongoing support for day-to-day operational issues within Oracle ERP and WMS.
- Training and Development: Hold a continuous improvement mindset that allows for ongoing training and self-development as an IT team member to ensure on-going proficiency in utilizing, supporting and maintaining our systems.
- Vendor Management: The ability to manage relationships with Oracle and other vendors, in order to provide the day-to-day support of their area of responsibility within Oracle.
- Project Management: Understand and support relevant IT projects in order to support the business benefit associated with the project by ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Reporting and Compliance: Ensure all IT activities comply with industry standards and company policies. Provide regular reports on the utilization, areas of opportunity and possible growth areas of the Oracle ERP system.
- Conducts business process analyses and needs assessments in an effort to align information technology solutions with Company initiatives
- Consults with personnel to identify and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, data scope, usage, formatting, and security requirements
- Leads the identification assessment and resolution of complex issues and escalates them appropriately
- Proactively identifies and prioritizes opportunities to streamline business systems processes
- Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures
- Writes, maintains, tracks, and documents functional specifications for new and modified business systems
- Participates in the delivery of system solutions (e.g., configuration, testing, deployment, validation)
- Consults and coordinates with team members to design, develop, and automated business systems
- Implements plans to test business and functional processes during system development and quality assurance testing
- Assists with developing, preparing, and conducting training on computer hardware and software usage
- Supports production and development environments and provides on-call support after business hours as needed

- Documented business processes & capture of any changes and downstream effects to applications
- Identify and strategize business requirement changes
- Manage a team of BSA (availability and coordinate support & project efforts)
- Develop and manage enterprise business systems team supporting ERP, EPM, ADW, CDM, MDM, Manufacturing, Ordering, and other business critical applications.
- Ensure adherence/implementation of industry best practices for developing and sustaining enterprise applications.
- Support application design/architecture for systems solutions to meet various business requirements, primarily in all areas of Oracle cloud such as ERP, CRM, EDM, OIC, Manufacturing, etc. and business intelligence areas.
- Assist in delivery of key projects and enhancement requests
- Stakeholder management/engagement
POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND CONDITIONS:
Education/Experience/Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field and two or more years of related experience; or six years of an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education.
- Experience as a business analyst or related position with relevant large-scale enterprise application experience.
- Experience working on Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM implementations required.
- Understanding of corporate CFO functional areas and related business applications.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, finance, procurement, manufacturing processes, and change management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional leadership, team management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
