CACI is currently seeking a DBA for the IPPS-A Army Military Pay (AMP) program based in Crystal City, VA. You will be part of the IPPS-A Agile Release Train to support activities of multiple Agile Product teams including development, test, data, reporting, sustainment, and operations.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Accountable for database and schema creation, user/role security, table maintenance, data migration, performance tuning, and database refreshes
Oracle database support activities will include database sizing, cloning, testing, debugging, replication, backups, restores, disaster recovery, and ongoing support to include status checks and critical patch updates.
Develop, document, and maintain the technical and conceptual specifications in support of the overall program database designs.
Support the design, development and ongoing operations of the IPPS-A AMP database applications, tools and environments.
Support the development, testing and CM teams for Functional/Security and Performance Testing, code packaging and code migration to various Test and Production environments.
Work closely with other DBAs, application administrators, developers, and testers to improve system performance, data quality, define requirements and develop solutions to complex problems.
Work to identify, prioritize, and execute tasks to meet program goals and deliverable objectives.
Provide rotational on-call, 24/7 support for production environments.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
BA/BS degree and 10+ years of related experience
Must have a current Security+ certification.
3+ years hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA
Proven experience installing, configuring, tuning, patching, and upgrading Oracle 12c/19c on Solaris & Linux
3+ years’ experience working as a DBA in support of an ERP, preferably PeopleSoft.
Solid understanding of Oracle database, Exadata, Solaris and Linux.
Work collaboratively in an Agile team environment with a strong focus on customer service and solution ownership.
Communicate in a clear and concise manner, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and is successful when working in Agile Product Teams
Manage time, meet deadlines, and coordinate multiple, dynamic, and competing priorities.
Proven mastery of troubleshooting techniques and the ability to solve problems quickly.
Active or Interim DoD Secret clearance
Able to obtain SAFe Certified Agilist certification within 90 days of starting.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience implementing and supporting Database Vault, Golden Gate, Audit Vault
Experience with volatile storage and recovery techniques.
Experience with ZFS
Experience with Oracle Superclusters
Experience working in DISA and working within the DISA DECC environment.
Experience with DOD STIG application.
Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 19c and Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) and have Unix shell scripting, SQL Scripting and PL/SQL
Knowledge of Oracle advanced security concepts
Minimum of 2 years of Oracle SQL or PL/SQL development experience
Experience with High-Availability and Disaster Recovery architecture and configuration.
Experience supporting reporting and other business processes using high-volume data sources across SDLC environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod)
Active DoD Secret Clearance
SAFe Agilist certified.
