The Crisis Residential Treatment programs will provide short-term, 24/7 crisis residential services for adults ages 18+ via 16 beds at Telecare Citrus House- 7225 Leeds Street, RTP-D, Downey, CA 90242. Services will help clients in acute psychiatric distress avoid inpatient hospitalization, emergency services, and incarceration; regain their stability in a safe, homelike environment; begin working toward longer-term recovery goals; and establish linkages with stable housing and ongoing treatment.
Shifts Available:
Full Time; AM 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; Monday - Friday
Expected starting wage range is $72,440.42 - $89,469.38. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
POSITION SUMMARY

The position participates in company quality review processes and helps to promote compliance and efficient operations of our programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Demonstrates the Telecare mission, purpose, values and beliefs in everyday language and contact with internal and external stakeholders
• Participates in the process of improving existing facilities policies and practices
• Demonstrates a good rapport and cooperative working relationships with all members of the team; responds to co-workers with concern and promotes group morale
• Works externally and inter-departmentally to foster a professional relationship and ensure delivery of product
• Travel between multiple locations (approximately 10%)
• Coordinates and performs construction and related project management activities, acts as owner’s representative, ensures regulatory code compliance, performs cost estimating, budget development and expenditure monitoring
• Develops standardized furniture and equipment specifications, identifies vendors, and negotiates favorable pricing
• As a member of Telecare’s consulting team to external agencies, acts as physical plant and regulatory code expert
Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted and/or changed at the discretion of management.
Position requires driving the Company Truck (acceptable driving record) to all 3 CRT's Citrus House (Downey), Magnolia House (LAC USC), and Olive House (Sylmar Olive View)
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
• Six (6) years of supervising and managing facilities management services in a regulated industry (healthcare, bio-med or other) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must have familiarity, knowledge and experience with computer equipment and software, including Microsoft Office applications
• Prior experience in supervising the work of outside contractors
• Basic working knowledge of building infrastructures (electrical, plumbing, HVAC)
• Ability to travel to and between different facilities (approximately 10%)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment
• All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. Position requires driving, valid driver license, a motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment. Additional regulatory, contractual, or local requirements may apply.
Preferred:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Experience working in a healthcare environment and experience with building, fire and other codes
• Experience working with adults with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities, or supporting another type of residential or care facility
• Experience with Joint Commission or other accreditation surveys
SKILLS
• Must be able to demonstrate organizational skills; demonstrated business communications (verbal and writing) skills and the ability to function with minimum supervision
• Project and time management skills
• Ability to demonstrate experience in managing multiple employees (working in various geographical locations)
• Must possess abilities and skills to perform installations and repairs of minor building equipment and furniture systems
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee is occasionally required to squat, kneel, crawl, climb and lift and carry items weighing 50 pounds or less as well as to frequently bend, twist, reach and to do simple and power grasping. The position requires manual deviation, repetition and dexterity, to constantly sit, walk, stand, push, pull and to occasionally drive and be exposed to uneven walking ground as well as Hazardous Exposure (Blood Borne Pathogens, Hospital Waste, Chemical & Infectious).
