Responsibilities
The Inventory/Asset Manager role will be based in the Sterling, VA and tele-work may be available. Selected candidate must be able to support occasional travel as necessary.
Role and Responsibilities:
Provide all requisite support to manage the fulfillment and maintenance of hardware and software inventory, in adherence with the information system component inventory specifications.
Maintain all asset records and configuration items (CIs) and execute all asset management processes.
Responsible for the development and execution of the asset management strategy, to include developing a plan for maintaining a cache of endpoint devices for break fix/replacement and addition of new staff, and support for ancillary processes associated with the procurement, deployment, validation, and retirement of both tangible and software assets.
Manage IT inventory/assets and related processes to capture, integrate, and maintain technical, demographic, lifecycle, and financial information about information technology assets from acquisition through disposal.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D. An additional 4 years of related technical work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Must have active Secret security clearance; US Citizenship is required.
Agile, ITIL, Service Now or equivalent certification required.
Experience with maintenance of Change Management Database (CMDB).
Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) Tool – Service Now.
Knowledge of FISMA asset management requirements / OMB mandates.
Experience managing large teams and work with government senior level and/or executive level leadership.

Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
