Job Abstract

The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a potential need for Military Operations Research Support to support our government customer located in Silver Spring, MD.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform routine and specialized procedures to monitor exposures of personnel to overpressure and associated tactical insults in a variety of training environments, which include ambient and individualized pressure recordings across a complete range of frequencies under a variety of environmental conditions.
• Evaluate the effects of exposures among humans to include auditory assessments, neurocognitive assessments, behavioral assessments, physiological function assessments, and performance assessments.
• Assessments shall also include individual history information and shall require in-person professional communication and interaction with research volunteers who speak North American English.
• Assessments may include phlebotomy and biospecimen management if proper training is completed.
• Data collection may include early or late, overnight, and/or weekend shifts as well as multiday TDY visits to military training sites.

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

• Must be U.S. Citizen.
• Must hold a minimum DoD Clearance level of Public Trust, with ability to obtain Secret.
