Job Abstract

Adecco is seeking a dedicated Material Handler in Torrance, CA. The primary responsibility is to restock tools in each vending machine daily. Additional duties include:

• Receiving and stocking materials

• Cycle counting

• Maintenance

• Light clerical work (issuing orders, sending emails to expedite orders, requesting status on orders with vendors)

• Spot buy receiving and delivery of products to the receiving department

Candidates must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and manage Vendor Management Inventory (VMI) counts. Appropriate PPE, such as steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, gloves, and earplugs, must be worn.

Work Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (30 minutes unpaid lunch)

Pay Rate:

• $19.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Restock products into vending machines.

• Receive, verify, and stock all incoming material.

• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, secure, and safe at all times.

• Perform light clerical work to expedite orders.

• Call vendors and work with customers.

• Provide high-level customer service.

Qualifications:

• Background in warehouse functions such as shipping, receiving, and inventory.

• Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it.

• Attention to detail, quick learner, and administrative work experience.

• Computer experience, including Outlook email and Excel.

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.

• Ability to perform manual lifting up to 40 lbs (occasionally, up to once a week).

• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and pull throughout the 8-hour shift.

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
