Position Summary
The Financial Analyst I administers and provides financial management support to the various business units within the CABO portfolio. Prepare annual budgets and financial reports, financial analyses and forecasts, provide transactional support of accounts payable/receivable processing such as journal entries, billing, and budget modifications, and maintain financial planning systems, reports, and key processes. Monitor revenue and expense budgets, capital budgets, actuals, and financial plans for the assigned portfolio and/or budget category. Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports tracking expenses for the various units and general informational reporting.
Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Required Experience: 2+ years experience with financial reporting and analysis, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Strong analytical skills, logical approaches to problem-solving, the ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently and effectively, professional communication skills and good judgment, and a desire and ability to take initiative, while successfully contributing to a collegial group environment. Proficiency with spreadsheet applications. Strong knowledge of database applications and word processing software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Strong grasp and familiarity with key business and financial concepts and tools (e.g. budgets, operating expenses, capital expenses, financial statements). Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Additional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $72,000.00 to USD $88,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
