Qualifications
Must possess valid California (BSIS) Guard Registration card and Permit for Exposed Firearms. Law enforcement background (active officer, retired officer, Correctional officer in the state of California) OR Military background coupled with security experience. High school diploma or equivalent. CPR/ AED certification preferred. Knowledge of security procedures and protocols. Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and de-escalation techniques. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements
This position involves climbing stairs, regular walking, standing, hearing, and talking. Some kneeling, stooping, crouching, or crawling may be involved. May involve moving and/or lifting at least 30 lbs. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Please note that for this position, candidates must possess prior experience in law enforcement or military law enforcement. This entails having served in an official capacity within a law enforcement agency or the US Military law enforcement. Additional Information: This position may require working in varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
