Works within Griffin Health communications department to use creative design to help meet the goals of all departments. Requires strong visual design skills for fast and efficient implementation. Must have interpersonal skill to quickly and impartially interpret feedback, and provide recommendations and options to meet communications and marketing needs.
Graphic Design Responsibilities:
- Interprets stakeholder needs and convert insights into compelling and striking traditional media and digital media visuals.
- Creates eye-catching design of Griffin materials including digital graphics, emails, print and digital advertisements, social media, flyers, signs, brochures, and informational collateral.
- Maintains an organized workflow of multiple projects with fast turnaround times while providing clear communication of project status.
- Archives creative assets and photography, and coordinates transfer of files with media vendors, and internal departments.
- Ensures that all that materials are of high quality and consistent in message and focus with hospital goals and objectives.
- Works in collaboration with managers, subject matter experts, and vendors to graphically represent a consistent and eye-catching Griffin design.
- Understands cultural and industry trends to present a compelling and contemporary Griffin brand image.
Digital Content Responsibilities:
Proven expertise in crafting compelling digital media, including websites, blogs, social media (both organic and paid), digital advertising, email, and social video content, with skills in social media video editing and production.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite programs.
- Advanced skill in photography editing and typography.
- Intermediate knowledge of video production, editing, and development.
- Enthusiastic, self-disciplined and an unwavering ability to receive multiple rounds of feedback.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively handle a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work outside normal business hours when necessary to meet all deadlines.
Experience and Education
- 3-4 years of graphic design work experience in a corporate setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in design communication, or graphic design is preferred.
