Human Capital Data Analyst
As the Human Capital Data Analyst, you will work closely with the HR organization, leveraging data to influence strategy and decision making related to effectively attracting, developing, and retaining top talent within the organization. Through analyzing and translating data and reports, you will actively support our enterprise-wide focus in data driven decision making and planning capabilities. You have a strong business analytics background and a keen interest in and understanding of its application to Human Resources trends, practices, and policies.
You are
A self-starter with strong attention to detail and the proven ability to be flexible and adaptable in the face of changing circumstances, who displays a knack for problem solving through innovative and effective data solutions.
You have
- Formal learning in Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related fields (e.g. Bachelor’s degree or applicable certifications).
- 1-3 years of practical data analytics and/or statistical modeling experience.
- Experience with developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through BI and Data Visualization tools (Tableau preferred).
- Knowledge of data & technology system processes, reporting functions, and methodologies (workday experience a plus).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Aptitude for data programming languages such as Python and R to influence decision making and outcomes.
- Experience in building relationships and collaborating with colleagues at all levels across the organization.

- Research for trends and patterns in HR data to uncover causation and explore correlations to other areas of the Enterprise.
- Translate data analysis and research findings into easy-to-understand, actionable recommendations in a way that influences decision making.
- Develop and automate techniques for the continuous transformation, audit and analysis of large volumes of data.
Reporting relationships
The Human Capital Data Analyst will report to our Human Capital Analytics Lead who, in turn, reports to our Head of HR Analytics and Optimization.
Location
On Site 2+ days/week @ one of Guardian’s East Coast Offices (Stamford, CT; NYC, NY; Holmdel, NJ; Bethlehem, PA; Boston, MA) with Work from Home flexibility.
Travel
Limited travel between Guardian’s East Coast Offices required for this position.

Salary Range
$79,350.00 - $130,365.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
