The Media Asset Manager is responsible for overseeing Rams Studios’ asset management systems from video asset management to external asset delivery to cloud archiving to quality control. The Media Asset Manager will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, enforcing and maintaining an efficient and consistent media asset workflow. This role will join Rams Studios at a pivotal time as we upgrade our storage system and transition between MAM systems from Reach to Iconik.
Job Responsibilities:
Serve as DIT for all major shoots.
Ingest and organize all video footage onto server including game day, studio shows and marketing shoots.
Log, tag and organize footage within the Iconik MAM system.
Fulfill all internal and external footage requests in a timely and consistent manner.
Develop long-term and short-term plans to monitor and manage storage usage including archiving and cloud storage. Maintain healthy and functioning amounts of storage.
Manage Frame.io account, ensuring we do not go over our account limits
Manage various software and media transfer accounts including Iconik, Helumt, Parsec, Frame.io, NFL ICE and Adobe.
Work with IT team to develop tech failure contingency plans for all hardware.
Work with our integration partner, CHESA, to manage metadata migration to Iconik.
Stay up to date on media asset management trends and technology and be proactive on professional development.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience working as a media asset manager or equivalent for a marketing team.
Deep understanding of video and audio file formats for digital, social and broadcast platforms.
Experience working with IT departments to maintain and monitor hardware/software.
Ability to troubleshoot and work independently to find solutions.
Ability to manage time effectively while juggling multiple tasks.
Must be detail-oriented with a passion for media workflows and organizational systems.
Experience working within a MacOS/Adobe ecosystem.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed, including all Rams games.
Knowledge of the Rams organization/players is a plus
Salary Range: $75k/yr. - $85k/yr.
