This position is responsible for the overall planning, management and execution of all aspects of firmwide lateral partner recruiting activities at Morgan Lewis.
This position will report to the Senior Director, Practice Growth and Performance and can reside in one of the following offices: Philadelphia, Washington DC or New York City with. A hybrid in-office/remote working schedule is available.
Responsibilities:
The Manager, Partner Recruiting is responsible for the overall administrative organization of the firm’s lateral partner recruiting activities across the firm’s 33 offices. This position will coordinate and keep track of the status of all lateral partner candidates in the pipeline, which will include individual candidates, teams, and any larger scale lateral growth opportunities that are in consideration.
Serve as a key point of contact for lateral partner candidates and recruiting search firms.
Cultivate and grow relationships with trusted recruiters around the globe; host meetings with recruiters and key partners to drive proactive targeted searches as directed by firm management and practice group leadership.
Serve as a liaison with Practice Group leadership to drive strategic lateral growth objectives.
Develop and oversee in-person and virtual interview schedules; coordinate travel as required.
Track the firm’s pipeline of candidates in various stages of the process and provide regular updates for the purposes of keeping firm leadership informed.
Work collaboratively and in support of the other side of the department, Lateral Partner Integration, as needed, based on department needs and priorities.
Support the annual Partner Meeting by driving administrative responsibilities related to the annual New Partner Orientation.
Experience/Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year accredited college or university, and a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in a recruiting role, preferably in a large law firm setting.

For positions in NY, the salary range for this job posting is
$113,580.00 - $181,728.00.
The base salary or hourly wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally, salary or hourly wages may be only part of the total compensation package. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
