Key Responsibilities:

As a Controls Engineer, you'll be the maestro behind the scenes, orchestrating the creation and optimization of control systems for cutting-edge machinery. Your tasks will include:

  Programming Brilliance: Crafting PLC programs from scratch using Allen Bradley and Siemens software, with a particular knack for RSLogix / Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk.

  Startup and Commissioning: Assisting in the exhilarating launch of new equipment, ensuring it operates at peak performance.
  
• 
  Design Excellence: Meticulously designing control systems for intricate machines, specifying every electrical component, from power distribution to motion control, communication, sensors, and wiring.

  Troubleshooting Extraordinaire: Using your expertise to unravel complex PLC logic, solving problems, and optimizing machine performance.
  
• 
  Electrifying Panels: Building complex electrical panels and wiring devices based on detailed schematics.
  
• 
  Interface Mastery: Crafting user interface software for industrial HMI systems, making machines user-friendly and efficient.
  

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED certificate.
• Preferred: 4-year engineering degree (or a 2-year technical college degree with relevant technical work experience).
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Proven track record in writing and troubleshooting code using RSLogix / Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk.
• Proficiency in creating electrical schematics using 2D CAD software.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Mechanical aptitude ranging from moderate to high.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Siemens SIMATIC, Wonderware, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
• Familiarity with packaging machinery.
• Knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and process equipment.
• Expertise in motion control.

Compensation:

Competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000.

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Travel:
