POSITION OVERVIEW
This position is responsible for overseeing the overall performance and profitability of the McCormick direct to consumer shop with full P&L responsibility. This role entails leading a multifunctional team, including merchandisers, inventory and logistics, IT, digital marketing and brand to ensure building a direct-to-consumer business across all our brands. Some key aspects of this role include leveraging the store to amplify commercial and brand campaigns and implementing upgrades on the Shopify platform to enhance the shopping experience. The role is pivotal in aligning workstream efforts with strategic goals and commitments, optimizing resource allocation and leveraging data-driven insights to maximize revenue and profitability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a multifunctional workstream and agencies as commerce capabilities are integrated into all our brands website experiences to ensure technology integration, mapping ways of working and conversion optimizations.
- Continuously optimize business model, product experiences, assortment and fulfillment based on data and by piloting new approaches
- Deliver P&L objectives through pricing, promotions and exclusives while understanding levers on the back end.
- Define roadmap of events and experiences for a continuous test and learn approach while amplifying commercial and brand campaigns
- Continuously look ways to enable digital touchpoints to be commerce enabled and optimized
- Coach and develop 2 to 3 direct reports
- Report performance of campaigns to commercial and brand teams
- Serve as SME and evangelist of DTC across organization
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or related field required
- 3-5 Years experience managing a Direct-to-consumer store with 500 to 5,000 sku’s, low price points but able to understand how to build a higher Average Order Value through bundling and promotions plus understanding how to drive traffic optimizing ROAS
- Supervisory experience
- Experience working across multi-functional teams
- Demonstrated success knowing when to have an entrepreneur approach and when to fit within the corporation ways of working

- Data driven, independent and digital self-learner
- Being able to lead a multi-functional team but also be team player
