SUMMARY:
GEICO's Marketing Department is seeking a Marketing Brand Lead to join the Brand Team. As a member of the team, you will help drive the development of brand advertising creative through management of various creative partners. You will evaluate and shape the creative and play an important role in the strategic development and execution of integrated marketing initiatives in collaboration with key internal stakeholders and external partners. The work you do will reinforce and improve on GEICO’s position as one of America’s most beloved brands.
You will manage the day-to-day agency relationships to ensure they are delivering against GEICO’s strategic business objectives. You have a passion for creative and a love for creating content that has an impact on culture. You will partner with the Social Content Strategist to ensure brand cohesion and shared strategic brand direction.
This role reports to the Director, Brand and Creative.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drives internal Brand Team status, in collaboration with the Creative Project Manager
Synthesizes content performance metrics from Analytics to form and iterate creative brand strategy
Evaluating and contributing to business and creative brief development and develop intake briefs for Agency Partners to activate
Responsible for road-mapping all brand/external agency Initiatives based on strategy + Marketing directives.
Partners with cross functional stakeholders in developing Omni-channel and partnership driven campaigns.
Provides creative leadership and input in running campaign initiatives
Works with analyst to interpret performance and incorporate findings into current and future creative
Manage creative development of branded integrations through network and media partnerships
Manages talent/usage rights for commercials and external assets
Contributes to and disseminates linear/streaming creative rotations to internal and external stakeholders
Partners with the internal GEICO Research team to inform Creative + Brand Strategy
Responsible for managing the day-day campaign management and creative development with our external Creative Agency partners
Reviews external agency work and provides initial feedback and recommendations to leadership
Responsible for capturing and communicating GEICO feedback + direction to partner agencies
Track and report on agency fee against scope of work, analyzing impacts of changes in projects/processes, and making recommended adjustments to leadership
Collaborates with Internal Creative Team + Creative Advertising Agency in concept development/brainstorming sessions
Ensures all creative content adheres to the GEICO brand voice and GEICO brand visual identity
Assists in reviewing marketing and non-marketing materials to ensure brand consistency
Partners closely with the Social Content Strategist to create a synergistic and digital-first approach to campaign development
Contribute to budget tracking, invoicing, and make adjustments and recommendations to adapt to business environment
REQUIREMENTS:
3-5 years brand management experience or comparable Creative Agency experience
Prior experience managing external agencies including Creative Agencies and Media Partners
A strong understanding of how to evaluate creative and contribute to development
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Unique blend of creative and analytical skills
Exceptional organizational skills to balance managing multiple projects
Familiarity with Creative and Production processes
Familiarity with omnichannel marketing and go to market planning, preferably in IAT model
Strong understanding of Paid, Owned and Earned social media framework
Strong experience developing full-funnel marketing campaigns
Ability to evaluate creative against strategy
Relationship building skills
QUALIFICATIONS:

Flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing business environment
Ability to identify problems and propose solutions
PREFERRED:
Experience in a B2C company

LOCATION:
Annual Salary
$80,000.00 - $126,000.00
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
