Job Description
Job Responsibilities
Provides general administrative support to all CURF team members
Plan, coordinate, and develop outreach materials for CURF Events
In consultation with the Fellowships and Undergraduate Research teams and CURF Assistant Director, plan events such as the annual Fall Research Expo and Spring Research Symposium, Research and Fellowships February, information sessions, workshops, interviews, by preparing materials, managing correspondence, making room reservations, ordering catering, etc.
Manages the creation and publication of a weekly newsletter, social media posts, and website updates under the direction of CURF’s Assistant Director.
Manages the CURF Office
Tracks department expenses and files reports to Provost’s Administrative Affairs Office. The Program Coordinator will also assist the rest of the administrative team with budget reconciliation and planning.
Greets students visiting the CURF office and helps direct them to relevant resources and staff
Coordinates the onboarding process for new hires and supervises CURF’s work-study students
Manages incoming email to general office email address, responding to student, faculty, and staff inquiries and directing messages to appropriate CURF staff.
Perform additional duties as assigned
