Driven by the ANA Enterprise strategic plans and content map supporting credentialing and program-related activities, manage all administrative, operational, and logistical processes and outcomes related to the development of educational products and services for APRNs. You will serve as the primary point of contact to direct the daily activities of matrix internal colleagues and external collaborating organizations, content experts, and vendors regarding educational products and consultative programs. What You Will Do:Provide expert project management and evaluation for the development and delivery of educational and consultative products and services. Create and manage databases, develop, and analyze reports, and make recommendations in support of educational content. Conduct ongoing educational needs assessment of current and potential customers to ensure products and services meet present and future learning and professional practice needs. Collaborate with the Director of Product Management, Nursing Content & Education, Director, Advanced Practice Initiatives and Certification Outreach, and others as needed, to proactively identify innovative product opportunities and technologies to support product line plans with a specific focus on Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs). Ensure that the APRN educational offerings are current and constantly updated on the website. Conduct customer surveys and other environmental scan activities for the purpose of assessing and tracking customer satisfaction, process improvements and identification of new business opportunities. Develop metrics to pinpoint process efficiency opportunities and support of ANA Enterprise goals. Initiate and maintain external collaborative relationships, partnerships, and sponsorships to increase product and service market share, increase revenue and decrease expenses. Education:Master's degree in nursing (MSN) required, experience and / or degree in education, educational technology, informatics, business, or a related degree required. Experience in the application of adult learning and learning theory required. Board Certification in specialty is required. Related Work Experience:Minimum 5 years in APRN practice (NP, CNS, CNM, CRNA) experience required. Minimum 3 years' experience in related duties with responsibility for educational content development/programming in health care, nursing continuing education programs, or consulting services. A minimum of 1 year of experience managing and leading a cross-functional team to meet aggressive goals with high judgment applied on how products are prioritized and developed. Knowledge of distribution modes supporting content delivery, web accessible and mobile applications, LMS and print-on-demand platforms with a global view of evolving APRN needs.
Skills:
Knowledge of current and emerging curriculum and instructional design methodologies, techniques, and adult learning principles and theories. Knowledge of data and metadata analysis and utilization. Familiarity with technological software and hardware platforms that support management and educational delivery and initiatives. Ability to work independently and effectively to provide content development team support and content project management. Displays competence in constructing and writing content information material. Ability to think critically and to collaboratively build solutions in a politically sensitive and highly visible work environment. Must be a team player, able to take initiative, and to work in a high-pressure environment. Should possess the ability to interact very professionally and appropriately when dealing with all levels of ANA enterprise members, customers, and staff as well as other organizations (associations, commercial and nonprofit business partners, universities, distributors, etc.); distinguished subject matter experts, academicians, and other key members of the nursing profession.
Preferred Skills
& Experience:Project management certification and performance improvement experience in the health care sector. E-learning/distance learning preferred. Demonstrated success in new program development, implementation, and evaluation. Related credentials in instructional design, or product development preferred. Doctoral degree preferred; Nurse Planner experience preferred. Work Schedule: Hybrid employees must work a minimum of 20% in the office.
