Construction Superintendent
Implement and maintain effective management, planning, and cost control systems in cooperation with the project team
On site project site daily
Will have Assistant as your direct reports
Work directly with Project Manager to ensure project is completed on time and under budget
Review and approve Residential construction operation plans, change order request and pay apps.
Provide monthly forecasting for all projects, including internal general conditions costs
Review contingency plans for potential problems concerning labor activity, fire, storms, etc.
Track and report on all project costs
Identify and evaluate risk that may have an impact on the project
Remain knowledgeable of subcontract agreements, purchase order terms and conditions, and sub consultant agreements
Provide support and guidance for project personnel
Establish and maintain communications between team and Subcontractors to ensure accurate and timely flow of information
Develop and issue monthly status reports to keep management informed on construction progress, direct and indirect construction costs, and other project activities

The Successful Applicant
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, demonstrating a successful track record in managing residential and commercial construction projects.
Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and legal regulations. Familiarity with building codes and standards.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required. A combination of relevant education and substantial work experience will be considered.
Certifications: OSHA 30-Hour certification is highly desirable. Additional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or construction safety are a plus.
Software Proficiency: Proficient in construction management software such as Procore, Buildertrend, or equivalent. Competence with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project).
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with strong decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Physical Requirements: Ability to work on-site, which may include exposure to varying weather conditions, and the physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
