Job Summary
The position of Permit Teacher, Early Childhood Education, is done for the purpose/s of facilitating student success in an inclusive early education environment (ages 0-5) by implementing curriculum, developmental and interpersonal skills; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of students; providing a safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents, and administration regarding student progress.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university including 3 semester infant/toddler units are required. A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or closely related field and 6 semester infant/toddler units is preferred.
CERTIFICATES/CREDENTIALS/LICENSES:
• Possession of a valid California Children’s Center/Child Development Teacher Permit authorizing instruction in a child development center program
• Possession of a valid California Child Development Site Supervisor Permit is preferred
• Valid California Driver’s License
