The Sr. Compensation Analyst II, in partnership with the Director, Compensation, will lead compensation projects, and develop, communicate, and implement innovative solutions for effective compensation strategies and programs.

YOU’RE AWESOME AT:
- Lead compensation analysis, evaluation, and recommendations using market insights and industry trends.
- Oversee the Company’s annual compensation review process, to include developing requirements and guidelines, designing and configuring compensation planning system, delivering manager training, ensuring internal pay equity.
- Conduct market studies and analysis to evolve the Company’s compensation philosophy, ensuring compensation programs are externally competitive and internally equitable.
- Complete annual assessment and modeling of base pay and bonus structure; recommend budget requirements.
- Expand job architecture for new business requirements, including international expansion.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners to deliver seamless support to the business, ensuring that compensation decisions are aligned with the Company’s compensation philosophy.
- Conduct modeling, statistical analysis and costing of base, incentive, and stock programs for guidance in impactful distribution of rewards.
- Act as Compensation Lead for implementing Workday Advanced Compensation module.
- Partner with Stock Administration to implement and administer competitive long-term incentive program.
- Lead implementation of compensation platform PayFactors for survey management, salary structure alignment to market, and compensation analytics.
- Maximize participation in compensation surveys to ensure overall competitive positioning.
- Develop creative methods for compiling and preparing data for analyses, including designing dashboards, reports and tools for compensation analytics and recommendations.
- Present compensation recommendations to Sr Leadership.
- Provide change management, communication, and training for compensation programs. Expand upon current pay transparency philosophy.
- Develop, implement, and administer compensation policies and programs.
- Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, including Privacy/HIPAA, and other legal and regulatory requirements.
EXTRA AWESOME:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience.
- Certified Compensation Professional designation strongly preferred.
- 8+ years’ experience administering compensation programs.
- 8+ years' experience with Excel, specifically in formulas, pivot tables, and vlookups.
- 5+ years’ experience working with Workday or other HRIS software.
- Knowledge of California and Federal employment laws as they pertain to compensation administration.
- A positive approach to people and problem solutions along with a strong sense of discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office with advanced/master Excel skills including formulas, charts, graphs, pivot tables and vlookups.
- Excellent analytical skills to effectively analyze data and create meaningful, understandable models, reports, metrics, and charts. Balance “big picture” perspective with attention to detail. A high degree of accuracy is essential.
- Experience with HRIS software and reporting. Workday and Pay Factors experience highly preferred.
- Ability to successfully work independently or across teams on multiple projects with overlapping time frames and shifting priorities, strong project management skills.
- Ability to think proactively, identify problems and solutions, and exhibit a high-level of initiative.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The starting base pay range for this position is $114,700 - $143,500 annually. Base pay will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and may also fluctuate depending on candidate’s location and the overall job market. In addition to base pay, Tandem offers a competitive compensation package that includes bonus, equity, and a robust benefits package.
Tandem offers health care benefits such as medical, dental, vision, health savings accounts and flexible saving accounts.
