JOB DESCRIPTION:
The HE Manager, Mass & Drug is the leader of the High End sales for the channel. The main responsibility is to work closely with the external buying teams at Walmart, Target, all Drug Chains, internal Sr. Sales Directors, Turbos, RSDs, KAMs and the regions on driving the P/SP commercial priorities within the channel. The role is responsible for the strategy, execution, and delivery of P/SP results within their scope. On top of this, they will align the CSO, region and local KPIs to make sure the teams are working in the same direction on the commercial priorities. The candidate will also work directly with the craft breweries’ (i.e. Goose Island, Karbach, Veza/Wynwood) leadership team to make sure their retail objectives align collectively and are cascaded to the relevant core sales counterparts. The role requires 15-30% travel!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participates in the annual JBP meetings with their Top retailers to align on volume, brand plans and goals.
Develop and own channel strategy for High End. Full plan, execution, and results responsibility.
Successfully lead plans and initiatives cross functionally. Owning entire process including 1 year planning and 3 year planning.
Responsible for channel management model and routines to ensure results. Track and measure business performance in key volume and execution metrics via Performance Review. Develop and drive action plans to close gaps.
Lead projects with significant impact on TUS business, manage budget and results.
Manage off-premise resources within budgetary limits. Providing routine performance update to BU leadership.
Identifies specific price and discount opportunities in the market and works closely with the commercial director on market strategy.
Participates in ride withs across HE, Craft and wholesaler teams
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management or similar field.
6+ years of sales or marketing experience in beverage/alcohol industry preferred.
Certified Beer Server or Certified Cicerone preferred.
Familiar with VIP iDig, IRI, BIR, Power BI, Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
Conducts work in a standing and sitting position; however, job requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and light lifting.
Job requires the ability to be in physical retail locations, on site activations and travel.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Profound knowledge of craft beer and brewing process.
Strong communication and presentation skills (PowerPoint). Ability to adjust a message to the audience.
Ability to use data to build a sell-in story
Highly-creative’ able to generate fresh, impactful ideas and see them through to implementation.
Proven ability to think and move between strategic and analytical thinking as well as actual execution.
Ability to coordinate brand information, supply POS material, and keep lines of communication open with state’s wholesaler network in order to better sell through products.
