We are seeking a Senior Information Systems Analyst (Sr. ISA) to join Valley Water’s Information Technology team. This position will focus on providing comprehensive support to Infor CloudSuite users, ensuring smooth operations of HR and Financial business processes. This Sr. ISA will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to hiring, benefits enrollment, COLA, timesheets, payroll, budgeting, procurement, invoicing, inventory management, and more. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide technical support to Infor CloudSuite users. Help troubleshoot HR related business processes such as hiring, benefits enrollment, COLA, timesheets and payroll. Support Financial functions of budget edit, invoicing, matching, inventory replenishment, journal posting, PO rollover and year end processes.
Develop and maintain reports to meet business needs. Using Birst, IPA, ISD, and list view, develop complex financial reports to support Budget Office, Accounting, Procurement, and Inventory. Develop accurate HR reports for Benefits, Payroll, and Health and Safety.
Support and maintain Infor CloudSuite GHR, Financials and Supply Management including system configuration, security, custom development, interfaces, reporting, data refreshes, and monthly cumulative updates (CUs).
Manage and maintain integrations with other systems such as Maximo Asset Management and custom Oracle applications.
Work with vendor support and business end users to resolve issues and perform root cause analysis.
Perform system integration with focus on design and implementation for the Valley Water's internal and cloud applications using a variety of techniques – web services, API's (Application Programming Interfaces), etc.
Support Birst BI reporting in security administration, Birst analytics upgrade, Orchestration workflows, and data reconciliation.
Facilitate implementation of new application features through UAT testing, user training, demos, and documentation.
Provide clear and concise technical documentation and internal operating procedures on new or enhanced applications for purpose of user training.
Improve and apply best security practice to protect Valley Water data.
Be a self-starter by bringing new trends innovations in the field of software development and implementation back to the team.

Ideal Experience:
Six (6) years of increasing responsibilities in software applications support, programming, and analysis.
Expertise in supporting Infor CloudSuite or a similar ERP system in Global HR, Financials and Supply Management including system configuration, security, development, interfaces, reporting, data refreshes, and monthly CUs.
Experience Managing and maintaining integrations with other systems such as Maximo Asset Management.
Ideal Skills and Abilities:
Experience with Infor CloudSuite development tools: ION, Configuration Console, ISD, Birst, IPA, Application Studio
Use list view, ISD, IPA, and Birst to develop custom reports according to user requirements.
Provide CloudSuite technical support, including report development, system configuration, troubleshooting, security administration, and interfaces.
Design, develop, and deploy customizations and interfaces to meet business needs.
Perform analysis of existing business processes and leverage CloudSuite technologies to enable efficiencies and process improvements.
Provide technical support to CloudSuite business users in HR, Benefits, Payroll, Accounting, Purchasing, Budget, Warehouse, and approximately 1,000 regular users.
Ability to create project plans, collaborate with business owners, and present demos and requirements.
Ability to recommend, design, implement, and install computer software applications.
Quick learner with a positive attitude.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbal and written communication.
Ideal Knowledge:
Knowledge and expertise of Infor CloudSuite or a similar ERP system. Infor (Preferred) Lawson, UKG Kronos, Dayforce Ceridian, Workday, PeopleSoft, or Oracle Fusion,
Working knowledge of integration tools to support interfaces between on premise and SaaS/Cloud applications.
Knowledge of quality control standards of managed application projects.
Knowledge and experience with SaaS (Software as a Service).
Ideal Training and Education: Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in computer science, information systems or a related field.
Substitution: Directly related experience may be substituted for the college requirement on the basis of one and one-half years of experience for one year of education to a maximum of four years.
Required License or Certificate

Valley Water Telework Program: Eligibility for telework will depend on the type of work performed, operational needs, and the ability for the employee to perform the essential functions of their job duties while teleworking. Employment with Valley Water requires employees to live within 150 miles of their primary physical work location located in San Jose, California by their start date.
This position requires the individual to be onsite and is typically not a teleworking position.
