Summary:
Provides clinical supervision for Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation patients and participants enrolled in Summa Health System’s Phase I through Phase IV cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs. Performs graded exercise tests according to AHA, ACSM, and AACVPR guidelines.
Formal Education Required: -Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology with focused course work in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation.
Experience & Training Required: -Internship or work experience in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation. -BLS Certification -ACLS Certification (Certification must be obtained within one year of hire date and maintained throughout job tenure).
Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications: -Certified Cardiac Rehab Professional (CCRP) Certification through AACVPR suggested but not required. -Demonstrated high level of monitoring skills including, but not limited to: 12 lead ECGs, Pulse Oximetry, and Pulmonary Function Testing -Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity
Level of Physical Demands: -Medium, Occasional (0-30% of day) 20-50 lbs: Ability to walk/stand/push/pull arm/leg controls of exercise equipment frequently throughout day. -Must be able to physically assist patients onto exercise equipment.
$22.99/hr - $34.49/hr
The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
